When no one is around to judge what you watch

Some may classify these shows and movies as “guilty pleasures” but I’d take it a step further – these shows come with shame attached. To quote Brené Brown, “the difference between shame and guilt is the difference between ‘I am bad’ and ‘I did something bad.’” Liking these shows means you are bad. Congratulations! You have bad taste. But that’s okay! Because owning your shame is important. As Brené says, “let go of who you think you’re supposed to be; embrace who you are.”

Situationist Certified Recommendations:

Emily in Paris - Netflix

Ordinary Joe – Peacock

Pretty Smart – Netflix

The Bold Type – CW (Hulu)

Below Deck - Bravo
